Lepitsa Beach

Greece has 13,676 km of coastline, with a vast variety beaches.  Some are organised and have beach clubs with swish dining.  Some have simple tavernas.  Many have basic enhanced access into and out of the sea. Most are just natural and row. All are life affirming.  At Lepitsa Beach, 350m from Villa 10greece/portohelli, the small islands and the mountain ranges of the distant Peloponnese roll into the horizon framing a view of breathtaking natural beauty.

Lepitsa Beach

Walk past 5 small coves on the way to Lepitsa Beach.. The first is a 150m walk – it is a bit of a scramble to reach the sea, but it feels like a secret place to those who venture there.  The water is divine, clear azure blue and sparkling. There are 4 more tiny natural coves, one with ladder access into deep water the others a mix of sand and stone.

Then onto the popular and sandy, shallow beach of Lepitsa;  350m from Villa10greece/portohelli (golf cart hire an option).  It has a simple family run taverna with loungers and umbrellas for a modest price. A beach/snak bar and communal beach-volleyball net. Serious sea swimmers and snorkelers favour the deeper waters towards Thini.

Be there at sunset at least once in your life…!
